ABOUT
Background: I was born and raised in Wisconsin surrounded by a large, loving family who I swiftly abandoned upon graduation by moving to Arkansas. Why Arkansas you ask? I've never been able to come up with any legitimate answer. Mostly it came down to: it was a heck of a lot warmer than Wisconsin.
After rushing through undergrad to then get out of Arkansas, I moved to Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, I worked in sales for Dell Computers and as a mortgage banker; married the love of my life, Neil; added a few dogs to the family; earned my MBA; and became motivated to pursue my PhD.
That led us back to Arkansas, albeit to a very different part of the state-- good ole' Fayetteville, AR. Here, we have found a community unlike any other we've lived in. It truly feels like home.
Hobbies & Interests: We love the great outdoors in whatever capacity we can enjoy it: kayaking, canoeing, climbing, hiking, backpacking, biking, and camping.
Being a proud Wisconsinite, I am a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack Go. And of course, Woo Pig Sooie. Needless to say, football consumes a fair amount of our time. I am also fond of board games, puzzles, movies, and reading.
I have recently had the honor of joining the board of Compassion House, a residential home for pregnant teens. I am constantly impressed with the level of philanthropy in Northwest Arkansas and love connecting personal passion with my work at the university.
